Michael Berman
Berman’s products and interiors reflect the designer’s interest in history, art, and
architecture – especially the Deco period of the 30’s and 40’s – film noir and the
influences of designers such as Angelo Donghia, Billy Haines, and Dorothy Draper. His work strikes an uncommon balance between timeless style and an at-the-moment
relevance.
In addition to interiors projects from New York to Los Angeles Berman has lent his creative vision to a burgeoning line of products and furniture with leading brands in the industry such as Robert Abbey, Walker Zanger, Kravet and Brown Jordan, to name a few, and his most recent line “Califolio” with Theodore Alexander.
